Author of two feature-length documentaries on Andean society, her work explores perception across individual, collective, and historical dimensions. Her films have been presented internationally and in rural Indigenous communities through alternative distribution strategies developed in collaboration with local populations. This experience informs her interest in non-dominant cultural infrastructures, access to audiences, and discrimination-sensitive approaches to cultural circulation.
Alongside filmmaking, she contributes as moderator, consultant, and juror in film-related contexts. With ViaMalena, she positions herself as a strategic partner for projects at the intersection of Europe and Indigenous and hybrid cultures of the Andes, as well as non-fiction cinema, formal innovation, and intellectual and aesthetic risk.
