Bridging local and transnational practices and perspectives, D—Arts Spot on Film aims to hold space for encounter and the exchange on urgencies and strategies, solidary alliances and structural change. Weaving an intersectional network, working towards transformation and justice.

As part of this, we are launching D—Arts Cookout, a new event series.

D—ARTS COOKOUT
We invite you to our informal gathering of moving image practitioners. The idea is to connect over food, exchange, share, and support in a casual and pleasurable setting.

WHO: This is a gathering that centers queer, BIPOC, and (post-)migrant perspectives, as well as moving image practitioners who enact anti-discriminatory practice. We invite filmmakers, curators, moving image artists, film festival organizers, critics, mediators, and those aspiring to join us.

D–Arts spot on Film creates formats at the intersection of film cultures and anti-oppressive practice.
